History of DBF Central Gurgaon

DBF Central Gurgaon Church is the first church plant of DBF Gurgaon Church, which is a cluster of churches in the city of Gurgaon, Haryana; and is the Gurgaon wing of Delhi Bible Fellowship (DBF), which started way back in 1968 in New Delhi. Over the years, DBF has established itself as an evangelical Bible-believing, non-denominational Church, currently having 25 worship services across the National Capital Region of Delhi (NCR).

DBF Central Gurgaon Church (DBF-CGC) was envisioned in 2015 in the month of May in a car ride from Delhi to Gurgaon. Very soon, the leadership team of Yeshu Naam Satsang (the Hindi ministry of DBF Gurgaon Church) and later the Elders of DBF Gurgaon Church made this vision their own.

Thereafter, everyone from the Hindi and English congregations of DBF Gurgaon Church contributed in amazing ways to make this church plant possible.

The founding team met for 4 months of prayer and training every Sunday morning at a rented facility in Sector 14, Gurgaon.

...and finally, DBF Central Gurgaon Church was inaugurated on October 8, 2017, at the hands of Dr. Jacob Cherian, Vice President & Dean of Faculty, Southern Asia Bible College (SABC), Bangalore, in the presence of the leadership of DBF Gurgaon Church and many witnesses and representatives from the English and Hindi congregations of DBF Gurgaon Church.

DBF Central Gurgaon is a new vibrant community of the disciples of Jesus Christ, seeking to grow in their love for Jesus, one another, and the city of Gurgaon and beyond!
